THE MAN BEHIND THE CARPENTRY

Hi, I’m Carl, the creative force and hands behind New Heights Carpentry. My journey began in 2005 as an eager apprentice, soaking up everything about carpentry and joinery. After earning my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma, I discovered a deep passion for creating bespoke furniture that’s as stylish as it is functional.

Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, focusing on high-quality, custom-made pieces. I love solving design challenges and working closely with clients to transform their visions into handcrafted, beautiful, and functional furniture. Every project is a unique, rewarding experience. With over 20 years of carpentry and joinery experience, I specialise in creating a range of pieces, including fitted wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes, alcove units, alcove furniture, TV media units and under stair storage, all designed with meticulous attention to detail.

Based in Reigate, I proudly serve clients in Redhill, Dorking, Horley, and surrounding areas, as well as throughout Surrey, Kent, and Sussex. Fully insured and committed to transparency, I personally manage and carry out every aspect of the project, ensuring a customised service from start to finish.

THE LITTLE APPRENTICE

They say you're never too young to start, and that’s certainly true for my little apprentice, my son! Since the age of one, he’s been fascinated by carpentry tools, always eager to join me in the workshop. Even now, he’s showing promising skills.

When he’s not “helping” in the workshop, he’s at home with his own set of my old tools, hammer in hand, trying to build or fix something. While his carpentry interest might not always make me the most popular with my wife, who knows? With his early enthusiasm, he might just follow in my footsteps one day!
