I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic couple in Reigate, Surrey, who had a brilliant vision for their lounge. They wanted a versatile desk space that could double as a stylish drinks area for entertaining, complete with ambient lighting and ample storage. The goal was to balance practicality for daily use with a bold aesthetic statement.

Crafted attentively in my workshop, the new alcove unit and desk were installed with expert precision, seamlessly blending with the matching skirting. A coat of Farrow & Ball's Elephants Breath and Enchyra Blue transformed the unit into a striking focal point in the room. Every detail, from fitting the cabinet doors and handles to installing LED lighting and sockets, was executed carefully to marry style with functionality.

This project was a joy to work on, and seeing the couple's excitement as their vision came to life was incredibly rewarding. Their new lounge setup not only looks stunning but also serves as a perfect blend of practicality and style. I loved every moment of bringing this project to life!
