New Heights Carpentry recently collaborated with a fantastic couple in Reigate, Surrey, to bring their vision for a versatile lounge space to life. They envisioned a multifunctional desk that could double as a stylish drinks area for entertaining, complete with ambient lighting and ample storage—balancing daily practicality with a bold aesthetic.

 

Crafted with precision in the workshop, the new alcove unit and desk were installed to blend seamlessly with the existing skirting. A combination of Farrow & Ball’s Elephants Breath and Enchyra Blue transformed the unit into a striking focal point. Every detail, from cabinet doors and handles to LED lighting and sockets, was carefully executed to combine style with functionality.

 

This project was a joy to work on, and witnessing the couple’s excitement as their vision came to life was incredibly rewarding. Their new lounge setup not only looks stunning but perfectly blends practicality with style—a truly fulfilling project for New Heights Carpentry.
